Quick Start Guide

Power on the device
Connect the MileageTracker to your vehicle's USB port. On first boot, it creates a WiFi network called "MileageTracker".
Connect to device WiFi
On your phone, connect to the "MileageTracker" network. A setup page appears automatically.
Enter your WiFi credentials
Select your home WiFi network and enter the password. The device will connect and remember it.
Access your tracker
Once connected to WiFi, access the device at http://mileagetracker.local or use this dashboard to find your device.
Link to your account (optional)
In device settings, click "Link to Cloud" to register your device here. This enables remote device discovery when on the same network.

How It Works

The MileageTracker is an ESP32-based device that plugs into your vehicle's USB port. It uses GPS to track your routes and automatically detects when trips start and end based on ignition power.

All trip data is stored locally on the device. The cloud dashboard simply helps you find and connect to your device - no trip data is ever uploaded.
